An injection-molded plastic kit of the historic Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost luxury car of 1911, in the smaller 1:32 scale from the Czech maker Smer. The package holds plastic parts; it is an undemanding kit with a smaller number of parts, suitable for collectors of veteran cars. The model is supplied to be glued and painted.
The Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost is among the most famous cars in history and in its time was renowned for the exceptionally quiet and smooth running of its six-cylinder engine. It was marked by an elegant open body, tall wire-spoked wheels and richly decorated bright fittings. The car became a symbol of the luxury and reliability of the early motoring era, and its 1911 form is to this day among the veterans most sought after by collectors.
Join the plastic parts with modeling cement for plastic. With an older mold, reckon on more careful cleaning of the parting lines and deburring of the edges; some joints have smaller mating surfaces, so glue them thoughtfully. Lay down a primer before the paint. Bright metal elements and the fine details of the body are brought out with different shades and a fine brush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
