Aoshima Snap Kit is a range of small automobile models that are put together by snapping the parts into one another. The parts are made directly in the color of the body, so this item represents the red version of the vehicle; the same model is sold in the range in other color variants too. You need neither glue nor paints for the build, which makes the model an ideal way into modeling as well as a rewarding gift.
The Suzuki Hustler is a small Japanese city car from the category of the so-called kei cars, that is, the smallest class defined by Japanese regulations for dimensions and engine capacity. It differs from ordinary kei hatchbacks in its appearance: it has a taller build, plastic wheel arch trims and a sturdier, mildly off-road look that made the vehicle famous at home and among collectors of miniatures. It is precisely the combination of small dimensions and striking design that makes it a rewarding object for 1:32 scale.
Even though the kit does not call for glue, it pays to handle the parts just as carefully as on a classic model. Cut the sprue gate remnants off carefully and clean them up with a file so that the parts seat together with no gaps. Fit the glazing last and do not touch it with your fingers. Anyone who wants to go further can fine-tune the model with hand accenting of the panel gaps, a matte coat on the plastic parts and polishing of the body; the colored parts take that without having to be completely resprayed.
The model is supplied unassembled. The parts are made in color, glue and paints are not necessary for the build and are not included in the package.
