Yahu Models 1:32 Tempest Mk.V is a pre-colored photo-etched instrument panel for faithfully equipping the cockpit of models of the British fighter aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but a finished pre-colored photo-etched instrument panel in 1:32 scale from the manufacturer Yahu Models. The panel is built up from several layers of etched metal with color printing and a backing that imitates the glazing of the instruments, so the dials look as though they are under glass. It is fitted straight into the cockpit in place of the plastic or decal part and needs no painting.
The Hawker Tempest Mk.V was a British fighter aircraft of the end of the Second World War with a massive Napier Sabre engine whose cylinders are arranged in the shape of the letter H. It excelled in high speed near the ground and it became famous above all for destroying V-1 flying bombs and for attacks on ground targets.
Separate the panel from the fret with a sharp knife and clean up the tabs. It is glued with a small drop of cyanoacrylate; take care that it does not run onto the printed surface. If the kit allows for a plastic panel, it is usually enough to replace or thin it. We recommend polishing the layered panel only lightly, so that the glazing of the instruments stays glossy.
This is an accessory for the cockpit, not a model in its own right. Glue and the kit are not included in the package.
