A figure of a US Air Force fighter pilot with a C2 type ejection seat for the model of the F-104C or F-104G Starfighter in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-104 Starfighter was an American supersonic fighter with a very short, thin wing and a slender fuselage; its recognition feature was the horizontal tail mounted right at the top of the fin. The C version served with the US Air Force, while the G version became the most widespread and flew with a number of European states. The ejection seat designated C2 is one of the upward-firing seats that replaced the original downward-ejection arrangement on this type.
A figure of a US Air Force fighter pilot in 1:32 scale and a C2 type ejection seat to go with it. The manufacturer's instructions state the number of parts, how the figure is broken down and which kit the seat is cut for. A figure in this scale is big enough for the folds of the flying gear to show, so it deserves time.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary modeling cement for plastic has no effect on them; hold the joints with super glue. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little way from the part and sand the rest off carefully. Try both the seat and the figure in the cockpit dry before you glue anything. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let them dry, because on a greasy surface the paint rubs off during handling. Build the paint up in thin coats and bring out the folds of the flying gear last.
The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
