This resin set from the Aerobonus brand (Aires) in 1:32 scale contains a figure of a US Navy fighter pilot together with an ejection seat for the F-8 aircraft. The set serves to bring the cockpit of a model to life, for a diorama or as a display-case piece, and it brings finely rendered flight gear.
The Vought F-8 Crusader was an American carrier-based supersonic fighter. US Navy pilots wore the typical flight suit, helmet, oxygen mask and survival gear; the figure captures this equipment and completes it with a period ejection seat.
Wash the mold release residue off the resin parts and cut off the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend painting the figure and the seat in layers with shading; a combination of brush and airbrush gives the best result.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
