USAAF WWII Pilot with seat is a resin figure of a seated American fighter pilot of the Second World War with a seat, intended for the cabin of a P-51B/C Mustang model in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure captures a pilot of the United States Army Air Forces from the period of the Second World War in a seated pose, together with a seat matching the cabin of the P-51B/C Mustang fighter in 1:32 scale. The set from the Aerobonus brand is conceived so that the figure fits precisely into the interior of the model and brings an otherwise empty cockpit to life.
The package consists of one multi-part resin figure of a pilot with a seat. The castings are fine and they faithfully capture the flying overall, the life vest, the helmet and the straps. The figure is to be assembled, cleaned up and painted.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap, so that any mold release residue disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a sharp knife and sand the faces lightly with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint with acrylics, and accentuate the skin and the folds of the clothing with oil shading. A filler primer proves its worth before painting.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The paints, the glue and the airplane model are not included in the package.
