This is not an airplane model but a resin set of accessories. The package holds two pieces of the Vickers aircraft machine gun with the Hyland type E loading handle, made with standard and with reversed ammunition feed. The parts replace the simplified armament of plastic kits and give it a faithful look.
The Vickers was a British water-cooled machine gun and, in its synchronized aircraft version, the standard fixed armament of First World War fighters. Depending on the arrangement in the fuselage, the ammunition belt had to be led from one side or from the other; this set therefore offers the ammunition feed in the standard and in the reversed form.
The parts are cast in resin and are intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting gates off carefully and bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend toning and weathering the metal shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
