This is not an airplane model but a resin set of accessories. The package holds two pieces of the Vickers aircraft machine gun in the variant built under license by the American company Colt. The parts replace the simplified armament of plastic kits and give it a faithful look.
The Vickers was a British water-cooled machine gun which in its synchronized aircraft version became the standard fixed armament of First World War fighters. Besides British manufacture, the machine guns were also built under license in the United States by Colt; those examples differed slightly in detail.
The parts are cast in resin and are intended for more experienced modelers. Before gluing, wash the parts free of mold release agent residue, cut the casting gates off carefully and bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding. We recommend toning and weathering the metal shades.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as resin parts. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
