A resin accessory in 1:35 scale from the PANZER ART brand representing the barrel of the British 17-pounder antitank gun (OQF, Ordnance Quick-Firing) with a canvas cover over the mounting, for the Sherman Firefly tank. It is not a tank kit but a standalone detail part, which replaces the gun from the box.
The Sherman Firefly was the British conversion of the American M4 Sherman medium tank, armed with the powerful 17-pounder gun, which could destroy even heavy German tanks. The characteristic long barrel with its half camouflage and the canvas cover over the mounting are typical of the Firefly. The canvas cover protected the moving mounting of the gun.
Wash the mold release agent off the part, cut off the casting block and clean it up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Pick the fabric texture of the cover out with a dry brush, unify the barrel with a base coat and fine-tune the camouflage transitions on the long barrel with an airbrush.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
