The General Dynamics / Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most widespread fighters in the world. The F-16B version is the two-seat training variant with two seats in tandem, recognizable by its extended cockpit with a longer canopy. The Royal Danish Air Force is among the long-standing users of the F-16 and some of its machines received striking special finishes to mark significant events. The real subject of this model carries exactly such a bold commemorative scheme.
Paint the two-seat cockpit and the seats and bring them out before closing the fuselage, and mask the clear canopy while spraying. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. The special commemorative finish comes out best over a good primer and a gloss coat; lay the color areas down evenly and apply the decals onto a smooth glossy surface. Fit the external stores according to the variant you choose, and bring out the engraved lines with a fine wash.
