A detail ammunition set in 1:35 scale from Eureka XXL. It contains turned metal projectiles and cartridge cases completed with resin parts for a wooden ammunition crate. It serves to fit out the interiors and ammunition compartments of models with the short 7.5 cm gun; it is not a vehicle kit.
The Gr.Patr.38 Hl/B was a German shaped-charge shell with a hollow charge (the HEAT type) of 7.5 cm caliber. This variant is intended for the short Kw.K.37 tank gun and the Stu.K.37 assault gun in the L/24 version, as carried by early Panzer IVs and early StuG IIIs. The Hl/B version preceded the later Hl/C and penetrated armor by the effect of the shaped charge independently of the striking velocity.
Deburr and wash the metal parts, and clean the mold release agent off the resin parts of the crate and cut off the casting blocks. Glue both metal and resin with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The cases show well once polished, and the projectiles and the crate once painted and lightly weathered.
This is a detailing accessory, not a vehicle model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
