The MAiM air conditioner, roof version number 2 in 1:35 scale is the second rendering of the roof air conditioning unit from the MAiM range of diorama props for modern urban buildings.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second rendering of the roof air conditioning unit from the manufacturer MAiM in 1:35 scale. It is a diorama prop, not a kit of a vehicle. You recognize a modern town from above: roofs full of air conditioners, ducting and technical cabinets are as characteristic today as the facades, and that is exactly the detail this unit brings into your scene.
The unit belongs on the flat roofs of buildings in modern dioramas, from civilian urban pictures through subjects of contemporary conflicts to post-apocalyptic ruins, where a rusted air conditioner tells of a normal life that has gone. The rendering, different from version number 1, lets you fit out several roofs without the equipment repeating; together with the big set of air conditioners of the MAiM range you can equip a whole urban block.
After cleaning up and washing, lay on a light base. The look is sold above all by the weathering: faded areas, rust at the joints and under the casings, dust pigments in the corners. An interesting accent is the contrast of a newer unit on a shabby roof, or the other way round. Bring out the grilles with a dry brush and the gaps with a dark wash.
It is supplied as an unpainted casting to be cleaned up and painted. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
