An injection-molded plastic kit of the multirole AS565 Panther military helicopter in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The model offers a detailed external surface, a well worked out cockpit and cabin, a precise rotor head, a detailed engine and landing gear and a photo-etched fret for the seat belts and other small items. Decals are included. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The AS565 Panther is the military version of the twin-engine medium multirole helicopter of the Dauphin family. It is used for assault support, fire support, anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare, search and rescue and medical evacuation. Thanks to its reliability and versatility it serves with a number of navies and armed forces.
Finish and paint the cockpit and the cabin before closing the fuselage. Use liquid cement on the plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. A primer and an airbrush are recommended; a single-color as well as a naval scheme can be brought to life with gentle shading. Mask the cabin glazing carefully and balance the rotor blades when gluing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
