An injection-molded plastic kit of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The set captures the vehicle in the version operated by the South Korean army. The package holds a great many plastic parts and photo-etched parts for the finer detail.
The BMP-3 is a Soviet, later Russian amphibious infantry fighting vehicle that entered service at the end of the 1980s. It combines a 100 mm weapon with an automatic 30 mm cannon and a machine gun and is able to swim. Besides the army of its origin it was exported to a number of countries, among them South Korea.
We recommend assembling and finishing the running gear and the lower hull before you close up the upper areas. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic, and spray the parts over a primer with an airbrush. You will create the weathering with washes and with pigments for mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
