A diorama accessory from the Polish manufacturer Eureka XXL, cast in resin. It represents a small masonry shrine built of brick, of the kind that stood by European roads and crossroads. It serves to enliven a scene; it is not a model of hardware.
Wayside shrines were built in Europe in various forms from the Middle Ages onward; the brick variant corresponds to the nineteenth and the twentieth century. In a diorama it gives a scene a strong civilian and landscape accent and a natural point of reference by the road.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting blocks away and glue them with cyanoacrylate. You will bring out the brick texture with a base coat, colored filters and washes into the joints; protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and glue are not included in the package.
