MiniArt 1:35 British Jeep Crew is a plastic set of unassembled figures of a British cross-country vehicle crew from the Second World War. It is not a model of a vehicle but a set of figures for bringing a jeep and dioramas to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of unpainted plastic figures of British soldiers from MiniArt in 1:35 scale. The group represents the crew of a light cross-country vehicle (a jeep) in poses matching driving and operating it, so the figures fall naturally into the interior and the surroundings of the model. It is not a model of a vehicle — the jeep itself and any other equipment are not included in the package. The exact number of parts is given in the instructions enclosed in the box.
In the Second World War light cross-country vehicles became the universal means of transport of the Allied armies — they served for communication, reconnaissance, carrying officers and as a tractor for light weapons. British and Allied units deployed them on every front, from North Africa through Italy to western Europe. Figures of the crew in period uniforms give a finished vehicle scale and action.
The figures are injection-molded from plastic and are glued with ordinary cement for plastic. After gluing, clean up the mold seams carefully, especially on the faces and the hands. For painting, a primer works well, along with building the flesh tone from a muted base up to lighter layers and shading the folds of the uniforms with a dark wash.
The set of figures is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The vehicle, glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
