1:35 Cardboard boxes (13 Boxes)

Cardboard boxes 1:35 - paper cardboard boxes (13 pieces)

A set of thirteen cardboard boxes in 1:35 scale for building dioramas. It is not a model and not decals but a printed paper accessory from which small boxes are made for the bed of a truck, for a store, for a loading ramp, for a field kitchen or for a bombed-out shop. Cargo is one of the simplest ways to give a diorama a story: an empty bed looks like a showroom sample, while a loaded bed tells where the vehicle is coming from and going to.

Use

• Cut the parts out with a sharp knife and score the corner folds in advance with the blunt side of the blade or a scribing needle so that the edges are sharp and straight.
• Glue the flaps with PVA glue; super glue will ripple the paper and soak through to the face.
• For strength you can fill a box with an offcut of balsa or polystyrene - the paper will then not be crushed by tweezers during handling.
• Age the edges and corners by rubbing them with a soft pencil, and lay fine dust on the top surfaces with pigment.
• Do not stack the boxes in a group perfectly square - a slight rotation and one box at an angle will immediately raise the plausibility.

Who the set is for

For builders of dioramas in 1:35 scale who need to fill a cargo bed, a store or a corner with believable cargo, and for modelers of figure scenes from the rear areas and logistics. It also serves as an accessory for civilian dioramas, where boxes can stand for a house move or a market.
