1:35 Cardboard Boxes – pizza from Matho Models — miniature pizza boxes for dioramas. A small thing that will give a modern civilian scene humor and credibility.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of miniature pizza boxes in 1:35 scale from the production of Matho Models. A diorama prop, not a kit of a model: boxes of the kind that pile up on a table during a long night shift, overflow from a trash can or are carried across the street by a delivery rider. Few accessories can give a modern scene so much civilian life in such a small area.
The boxes belong in present-day subjects: on the table of a workshop or an office, in the hands of a figure of a delivery rider, on the seat of a car, by a container or in the corner of a street. They work splendidly as a genre detail with the crew of modern military equipment on a base. Build them up into little stacks and leave one half open; a viewer always stops at such a detail and smiles.
The boxes suit muted cardboard shades, a light ocher or whitish, with a simple colored motif on the lid suggested with a brush if you like. Darken the edges gently with a wash so that they come out, and a half-open box can be completed with a leftover piece of pizza made from filler toned yellow and red. Suggest greasy stains on the bottom with dots of satin varnish. Glue them with a small drop of cyanoacrylate or PVA glue.
The accessory is supplied with no glue or paints; those are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
