Metal track links 1:35 for the Centurion (rubber-padded tracks) are a set of assemblable tracks in white metal for the British main battle tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a modeling accessory, not a model in its own right. The set holds individual track links cast in white metal, which are assembled into a working track by joining them with the enclosed wire. It reproduces the variant of the track with rubber pads of the Centurion vehicle. Metal tracks replace the plastic or vinyl tracks from an ordinary kit and give a realistic weight and sag.
The Centurion was a British main battle tank developed at the end of the Second World War, which became one of the most successful postwar tanks and served in many armies for whole decades. The variant of the track with rubber pads was used above all for running on hard roads.
The links are cleaned of casting remains, assembled with the enclosed wire and can be left to sag slightly. The metal is treated with a primer before painting, and the tracks are then painted and weathered; the rubber pads can be set apart with a darker shade.
This is an accessory for modelers, not a model in its own right. It does not hold the vehicle, glue or paints.
