This photo-etched metal set is a detail accessory which is not a model in its own right. It contains fine securing clamps and brackets of the kind that hold external equipment, tools, jerrycans and spare parts on real vehicles. What the set is for

The securing clamps on a real vehicle are small, but they repeat all over the hull and the turret, so they markedly influence the impression a model makes. The plastic version tends to be thick and flat; thin photo-etched clamps add convincing scale detail to the surface of a vehicle.

Fitting tips

Separate the parts with a sharp knife on a hard surface and bend them with a photo-etch bending tool. Tweezers and super glue (cyanoacrylate), ideally the gel version for the time it gives you to position a part, prove their worth for accurate placing. Degrease the metal before painting and treat it with a base color for metal.
