A photo-etched set for the Cromwell Mk.IV in 1:35 scale from Aber: metal parts for detailing the British cruiser tank. It is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched metal set in 1:35 scale for a model of the British Cromwell cruiser tank in the Mk.IV version. This is not a kit but a set of thin metal parts with which the plastic fenders, grilles, brackets and grab handles are replaced on the model. On the Cromwell it shows in particular, because the vehicle has long straight fenders above the tracks, which in plastic always look too thick.
The Cromwell was a British cruiser tank with an aero engine adapted for ground use, which gave it an excellent speed for its day. It carried a gun of seventy-five millimeters caliber and served mainly with the armored reconnaissance units after the landing in Normandy. Against the German heavy vehicles it had weaker armor and armament, but in reconnaissance its mobility was valued more than strength.
Cut photo-etched sheet on a hard surface with sharp etch scissors or a scalpel, and never break a part out. Make the bends in a bending tool or at least between two blades, so that the edge is sharp and in the right place. Degrease the parts with alcohol, glue them with super glue, that is with cyanoacrylate, and apply primer to the metal, otherwise the paint will not hold. It is good to bend a long fender in one go along its whole length, otherwise it will wave.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
