DPRK Pukguksong-2, 1:35 (Hobby Boss) is an extensive plastic kit of the North Korean medium-range ballistic missile on a tracked launch chassis.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit captures the North Korean Pukguksong-2 ballistic missile, designated KN-15 in the West, together with its tracked self-propelled launcher. The tooling is new and very extensive, with a large number of parts, individual track links and photo-etched parts. Because of its size and complexity the model is better suited to more experienced builders.
Pukguksong-2 is a land-based solid-fuel ballistic missile derived from a launch system originally intended for submarines. Its first test launch took place in 2017. The use of solid fuel shortens the preparation for launch from hours to minutes, and the missile is transported and fired from a tracked chassis, which increases its mobility and its ability to stay hidden.
Assemble and test the tracked chassis and the running gear before you close the hull. An airbrush and a good primer suit the large smooth surfaces of the launch container, while dark washes and dust pigments then bring the busy running gear to life. Prepare the individual track links in advance and let them dry thoroughly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
