This is a resin detail set of the cockpit in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory for a kit, which replaces the interior from the kit with more faithful resin parts. The set is intended for more experienced modelers building the two-seat Su-27UB version.
The Su-27UB is the two-seat combat trainer version of the Soviet heavy fighter Su-27, with tandem cockpits. It keeps the combat capabilities of the single-seat version and also serves for pilot training. The set refines the instrument panels, side consoles, levers and seats of both cockpits, which markedly brings an open cockpit to life in a large scale.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks carefully and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Lay down a primer before painting; the instrument panels come out well with a wash and a dry brush, or with the enclosed details.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
