The basic Aber photo-etched set for the German Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. B self-propelled gun in 1:35 scale: the add-on set (vol. 1) with fine metal details.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a vehicle model but the basic photo-etched metal detail set (vol. 1) from the Polish manufacturer Aber for a plastic model of the German Sturmgeschütz III self-propelled gun in the Ausf. B version (Sd.Kfz. 142). The set replaces coarse plastic features with fine photo-etched parts and raises the fidelity of the build.
The StuG III Ausf. B was an early version of the German assault gun built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. It carried a short 75 mm gun, the StuK L/24, in a fixed superstructure without a rotating turret, and it served to give infantry direct fire support in the early part of the Second World War.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, make the bends along the etched grooves in a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Finish the running gear details before you close up the hull. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer; washes and pigments suit the weathering.
The set holds photo-etched metal parts only. The base plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
