The basic Aber photo-etched set for the German Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D medium tank in 1:35 scale: the add-on set (vol. 1) with fine metal details.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a tank model but the basic photo-etched metal detail set (vol. 1) from the Polish manufacturer Aber, intended for a plastic model of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank in the Ausf. D version. The set replaces thick plastic features with fine photo-etched parts and raises the fidelity of the finished model.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D was an early production type of the German medium tank from the beginning of the Second World War, armed with a short 75 mm gun, the KwK L/24, intended above all to support infantry. Its external gun mantlet and the early form of the hull and turret are characteristic.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife, make the bends along the etched grooves in a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Think about the running gear and the interior before you close up the hull. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
The set holds photo-etched metal parts only. The base plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
