This is not a tank model but a photo-etched metal detail set (vol. 2) from the Polish manufacturer Aber, focused on the fenders of the German Pz.Kpfw. IV medium tank in the Ausf. D version. Thin metal fenders look more realistic than thick plastic parts and also allow combat damage to be suggested.
The Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. D was an early production German medium tank from the beginning of the Second World War with a short 75 mm gun. The fenders over the tracks were among the features that often deformed or went missing in practice, which makes them a rewarding detail for a diorama.
Take the fenders carefully out of the fret, shape them along the etched grooves and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. For the look of a used vehicle the sheet can be slightly bent or torn. Degrease the metal before painting and apply a primer.
The set holds photo-etched metal parts only. The base plastic model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
