An add-on photo-etched set (vol. 2) in 1:35 scale for the German half-track vehicle Nebelkraftwagen Sd.Kfz. 11/4, focused on the ammunition boxes and their stowage. It is neither a vehicle model nor a complete kit, but a collection of fine photo-etched metal parts that follow on from the basic set. It lets you build truer boxes, brackets and fittings for carrying ammunition.
The Sd.Kfz. 11 was a German three-ton half-track tractor; the /4 Nebelkraftwagen version served to supply rocket launcher and chemical units with ammunition. Ammunition boxes and lockers were characteristic equipment on the load bed, so rendering them faithfully markedly raises the realism of the model.
Build up the boxes from photo-etched panels bent on a sheet bending tool; glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend finishing the basic set first. Degrease before painting, apply a primer, give the lockers a different shade for wood or metal and weather them with a wash and pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
