1:35 German Panzer Commander WW2 is an unpainted resin figure in 1:35 scale from Evolution Miniatures. It represents a German tank commander of the Second World War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a figure cast in resin in 1:35 scale, supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is neither a kit of a vehicle nor an accessory for one, but a separate figure intended for a display case or for a diorama with a model in the same scale. The number of parts, the division of the casting and any base are stated on the box.
Resin figures are cast in silicone molds, which allows finer modeling of folds and of the face than injection-molded plastic can manage. The price is extra work: wash the parts first in lukewarm water with dish soap so that the mold release agent disappears, otherwise paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw under the figure and in places where the mark can be sanded away. Sand wet and with your airways protected. It is glued with superglue, and gaps in the shoulders or the neck should be filled with putty and sanded, so that they do not disturb the line of the uniform.
Before painting, seat the figure on a temporary holder so that you do not touch it with your fingers. A primer in a neutral shade follows, which will reveal any uncorrected sanding marks. Build both the uniform and the flesh in layers: a base tone, a darker shadow in the folds and a lighter tone on the raised areas. On the face, work with very thin paint and very thin layers, otherwise the features quickly go hard. Leave leather items and metal detail until the end. A matte clear coat ties the whole together, and a slight sheen can be added in selected places only.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
