Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Hungarian light tank 38M Toldi I in the A20 version, in 1:35 scale from Hobby Boss. The model has a detailed hull, turret and running gear; depending on the contents of the box, photo-etched parts and decals are included as well. It is an unassembled and unpainted kit for gluing.
The Toldi was a Hungarian light tank built under license from the Swedish Landsverk L-60 vehicle. It entered Hungarian service in 1940 and first saw combat in 1941. The Toldi I (A20) version belonged to the first production batches. Because of their thinner armor and lighter armament, but with good radio equipment, these tanks were used mainly for reconnaissance, predominantly on the Eastern Front.
Assemble the running gear before you close the hull up. Apply the base coat with an airbrush; for faithful weathering use washes in the recesses and the engraved lines and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear. Glue the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Before gluing, clean the flash and the remains of the sprue gates off the parts and test fit the individual pieces dry; glue with a liquid cement for plastic, which joins the seam firmly and cleanly. For better paint adhesion apply a primer first and spray in thin coats, ideally with an airbrush. Before weathering, even the surface out with a varnish and let every coat dry thoroughly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
