Insignia for German soldiers (Second World War) is a photo-etched detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale as a modeling accessory for figures.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is neither a figure nor a model but a photo-etched metal detail set from Aber in 1:35 scale. The set holds small photo-etched insignia and badges for finishing figures of German soldiers of the Second World War. The photo-etched parts have a markedly finer relief than hand-painted details and serve purely as a scale modeling accessory.
Military uniforms carried a number of small metal and cloth badges and patches. Imitating them faithfully in 1:35 scale by hand painting is difficult, and photo-etched insignia therefore make it easier to achieve a realistic look on figures.
Separate the tiny photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a cutting surface and handle them with tweezers. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue in small doses. Degrease before painting and apply a primer; then pick out the badges with a drybrush or a wash.
This is a modeling accessory for figures, not a figure in itself. The figures, glue and paints are not included in the package.
