FineMolds 1:35 JGSDF Tank Crew 1965-1990s is a set of plastic figures of Japan Ground Self-Defense Force tank crewmen for completing models of armor in 1:35 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set of injection-molded plastic figures from the Japanese manufacturer FineMolds captures the crew of an armored vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) from roughly 1965 to 1990. The figures serve to bring models of tanks, armored vehicles and self-propelled guns to life. The package offers several figures in various poses and alternative heads for variety.
The figures represent members of JGSDF tank units in the working dress and coveralls of the period. The gear includes a period personal weapon and the accessories usual for vehicle commanders and drivers of that time. The rendering of the clothing matches the service practice of those decades.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the joins so that the parting lines are not visible. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic. For the faces and the uniforms, layered brush painting works well, or oil paints for soft transitions and shading in the folds of the cloth.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the vehicle are not included in the package.
