A plastic add-on set of jerrycans in 1:35 scale from Italeri. It contains the typical twenty-liter cans for fuel and water in the American and the German pattern, told apart by the shape of the sides. It is not a vehicle model – it is equipment with which you can bring vehicles, trailers and dioramas of the Second World War to life.
Clean the parts up and fit them together, gluing with thin modeling cement. Paint the cans according to nationality (olive on the American ones, dark yellow or gray on the German ones) and bring them to life: worn paint on the edges, a wash into the pressings and light dust or rust will give them a used look. Pieces worn to different degrees look more natural on a diorama than a uniform row.
