This injection-molded plastic kit depicts the Japanese Type 73 light off-road vehicle in the military police version of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. The 1:35 scale model from Trumpeter is supplied as an unassembled and unpainted kit meant for gluing and finishing.
The Type 73 Light Truck is a light off-road vehicle of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force whose later form is based on the design of the Mitsubishi Pajero. The vehicle carries personnel and light equipment, and in the military police version it wears the matching fittings such as a roof beacon light and a loudspeaker.
On light vehicles we recommend paying attention to the chassis, the interior and the glazing. Liquid cement for plastic, a primer and an airbrush work well. Fine washes and light dust effects on the chassis and tires will bring the finish to life.
