A set of precisely shaped self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for building the model of the German Krupp L3H163 truck in 1:35 scale. The masks help you spray the glazing of the cab and the other areas that are to stay free of paint cleanly, so laborious and uncertain masking with tape falls away. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that makes painting easier; the basic kit has to be bought separately.
The Krupp L3H163 was a heavier German truck with a 6x4 drive layout, used by the Wehrmacht during the Second World War in the role of a transport and rear-area vehicle. The glazed cab and the broken-up surfaces of the body are exactly the places where masking helps most during painting.
Clean and degrease the surface before the masks go on. Move the masks over carefully with tweezers, press them firmly against the edges of the frames and spray in thin coats, so that the paint does not creep under the edge. Once it has dried, peel the masks off before the paint hardens completely, for the crispest possible edge.
The accessory is supplied on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
