MAiM 1:35 boy with a ball, the lets play soccer motif is a civilian figure for dioramas which gives a scene an everyday, peaceful moment.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a separate civilian figure in 1:35 scale — a boy with a soccer ball. It is not a model of equipment and not a kit; the figure completes a scene that has already been built. The quotation marks in the original name are only the way the manufacturer writes it; the content is the ordinary name of the motif.
Children as civilian figures have a special role in diorama work: they set everyday life against the setting in which a scene stands. A boy with a ball in the middle of a street or in a yard changes the sense of a whole composition and gives a viewer a point at which the eye stops. The motif suits urban built-up areas, village buildings and postwar scenes; it also works on its own as a small vignette. The brand also offers a following motif with more boys playing, so a scene can be extended.
Choose the glue according to the material of the parts — a plastic cement on plastic, super glue on resin parts. Wash the figure in lukewarm soapy water, sand the parting seams gently and protect your airways. Apply a thin filler primer. On a child figure, take care over the proportions of the face — set the eyes higher and smaller than on an adult figure and choose gentler shadows, so that the face does not age. The clothing takes lighter, richer shades than a uniform; paint the small ball separately and fit it only at the end. Dirty the knees, the elbows and the shoes lightly with pigment.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
