This is not a model of the vehicle but a set of fine photo-etched brass parts intended for detailing a plastic kit in 1:35 scale. The set concentrates on the add-on side blast panels of the hull of the M-1127 reconnaissance armored vehicle and replaces the simplified plastic parts with more faithful photo-etched elements.
The M-1127 is a variant of the American Stryker wheeled armored personnel carrier with 8x8 all-wheel drive, configured as a reconnaissance vehicle. The Stryker family has served with the US Army since the beginning of the 21st century and is distinguished by its high mobility and modular armor.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife, make the bends on a photo-etch bending tool and glue them on with cyanoacrylate glue or epoxy. Degrease the surface before painting, apply a primer suitable for metal and paint with an airbrush. A wash and fine pigments are useful for bringing out the rivets and the gaps.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
