Eduard 1:35 M-1127 slat armor is a photo-etched accessory, not a model. It adds slat armor against shaped charges to the reconnaissance Stryker M-1127.

A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard for the Stryker M-1127 RV wheeled armored vehicle (reconnaissance vehicle). It is not a model but an accessory representing slat armor, that is, a cage around the hull that sets off shaped-charge warheads early.
The slat armor forms the characteristic cage that encircles the whole Stryker. The photo-etched version faithfully captures the array of slats and supporting frames in thin metal, which is practically impossible to achieve in plastic with the same fineness and the same see-through quality of the lattice.
The frames and slats call for patient, precise assembly. Bend the parts on a photo-etch bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Build the cage on a flat surface so that it holds its geometry. Degrease and prime before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
