A photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale containing additional armor plates for a model of the M-1130 command vehicle. It is not a model of the vehicle but an accessory that is fitted to a plastic kit and completes the external add-on armor including its mounting hardware.
The wheeled armored vehicles of the Stryker family were fitted in combat service with additional armor plates that raised the protection of the crew. Photo-etched parts make it possible to render their thin edges and brackets more faithfully than plastic.
The parts of thin brass sheet are separated with a sharp knife and shaped with tweezers. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the brass before painting and prime it for metal, then weather it with washes and pigments.
This is an add-on photo-etched set. The plastic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
