A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:35 scale, aimed at the outer details. This is not a stand-alone model but an exterior accessory for a plastic model of the American M-3 Lee medium tank. Photo-etched sheet makes it possible to render faithfully the fenders, the tool clips, the grilles and other thin features of the hull.
The M-3 Lee was an American medium tank from the start of the Second World War. Its characteristic feature was the two-level arrangement of the armament: a gun of larger caliber in a side sponson of the hull and a smaller gun in the turret. It was deployed by the Americans and by their allies, with British units in the form known as the Grant.
First finish the running gear and only then seat the photo-etched exterior parts. The sheet is bent over a ruler or a bending tool and glued with super glue. Degrease before painting and lay down a primer; for weathering use washes and pigments with mud effects.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
