A photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:35 scale intended for detailing a model of the American M103A1 heavy tank. The metal parts bring fine grilles, brackets, covers and other small items that raise the fidelity of the build. It is an accessory for a kit, not a standalone model.
The M103 was an American heavy tank of the Cold War period, designed to fight heavily armored Soviet tanks. It carried a powerful large-caliber gun and a massive turret with a long barrel. The M103A1 version brought changes to the turret and the fire control and served above all with the US Army and the Marine Corps.
Separate the parts on a cutting surface, form the bends with a bending tool and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal surfaces and apply a primer before painting. Complete the characteristic metal structure with fine washes to bring out the details.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
