The plastic kit of the M24 Chaffee in 1:35 scale from AFV Club in a form from the war in Indochina.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American M24 Chaffee light tank in 1:35 scale from AFV Club, in a form referring to its service in the First Indochina War. The model is supplied unassembled and is meant to be glued and painted; the form offers markings matching that theater and, depending on the edition, additional detail as well.
The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank of the end of the Second World War, armed with a seventy-five-millimeter gun. It stood out for its low weight, its good mobility and its five road wheels on each side. After the Second World War these tanks served in a number of armies; French units committed them during the war in Indochina, among other places in the fighting at Dien Bien Phu in 1954.
Assemble the running gear before closing the hull. Glue the plastic with thin cement, apply primer and work the shade and the markings with an airbrush. For a faithful rendering of service in a tropical setting, pronounced weathering with mud and dust by means of washes and pigments suits well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
