1:35 Modern German Head w/Tropical Hat - Neutral Impression #0021

MAiM 1:35, head of a modern German soldier with a tropical hat (a neutral expression)

A standalone resin head in 1:35 scale showing a modern German soldier in a tropical hat. The face has a calm, neutral expression. It is not a complete figure but a replacement head for swapping with the original part and for filling out a scene.

The real subject and the expression

The head is based on the appearance of a soldier of a present-day army in a warm climate, with a wide tropical hat. The neutral expression is universal and suits the quieter and more static views of a diorama, where the character is simply watching the surroundings.

Building and painting tips

• Wash the mold release residue off the part and cut off the casting block.
• Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
• Sand the neck down if needed so that it seats exactly on the body of the figure.
• Build the skin up in layers; unify the brim of the hat with a matte varnish.

Who the part is for

• For figure modelers and diorama builders who want to vary the expression or the headgear of a character.
• For more advanced builders used to working with resin.

This is a standalone resin head, not a complete figure. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints and a figure are not included in the package.
