The crates suit units and vehicles armed with the AK-47 or with weapons taking the 7.62 mm round. In 1:35 scale they serve as stowage on a vehicle, at supply points or set around figures, and they give a scene credible detail.
Wash the resin parts in warm soapy water, cut off the small casting gates and sand the surfaces lightly with your breathing protected. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The base is usually military green or a wood shade, which you complete with scuffs and dust weathering.
