It is not a vehicle model or a kit but a scale reproduction of a Pelican transport case that serves as a mobile office, that is, as a lockable box for documents and office equipment. The accessory suits a command post, a tent, a work table in a hangar, a vehicle interior or the ground beside figures.
Cases of this range are based on the classic military footlocker, but in modern form: a shell of tough plastic, a perimeter seal, folding latches and handles, with compartments and drawers inside. They are used wherever papers, writing materials and small items of equipment need to be kept together and at the same time protected from damp and dust. In a scene they therefore say clearly that the space serves for administration and command rather than for fighting, and they widen the range of diorama subjects beyond the usual combat still lifes.
Separate the parts carefully, clean up the mating faces and wash and degrease the whole accessory before painting.
