A notebook computer in 1:35 scale is a pair of miniature portable computers from the MAiM brand for modern and present-day dioramas.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small diorama accessory in 1:35 scale: two notebook computers, that is, portable computers, as equipment for a scene. It is not a kit and not a figure, but a prop which you place on the table of a command post, into the interior of a vehicle, on a hood or among the equipment of a workshop. The manufacturer gives the number of pieces in the name — there are two in the package. Check the contents of the package once it arrives.
Props of this type set the period in which a scene takes place more precisely than the equipment itself. An open notebook on a table places a diorama in the present or the near future at once, and at the same time it offers what a scene most often lacks — a small accent of light and color in the middle of an otherwise muted military palette. Two pieces in the package also allow two different places to be occupied, or one to be left closed and the other open.
Cut the small castings off carefully with a sharp scalpel or a fine saw, level the remains of the gates with a fine-grit file and wash the parts before painting. Glue with a small amount of super glue. Paint the body of the notebook a muted dark gray or graphite shade — black looks unnatural in miniature. Only suggest the keyboard with a dark wash, which runs between the keys. The screen takes the most work: lay a dark base, apply a blue-gray or greenish tone thinly over it and, in the upper part, add a lighter diagonal band that imitates a reflection. Finally go over the area of the screen with a gloss varnish, so that it differs from the matte body. Pick the edges and corners out with light rubbing from a dry brush.
The accessories are supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other equipment are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
