Notice Signs — the first set, German language is a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale: a set of information and prohibition signs with German lettering. It is not a kit, but equipment for a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the manufacturer MAiM holds information and prohibition signs with German lettering in 1:35 scale, that is, small equipment for a scene rather than a kit. The designation in the name places it as the first set of this range; the manufacturer also offers similar sets in other scales and language versions, so when ordering, check that you are choosing what you need. Check the number of signs, their wording, the material and the way they are made against the illustration on the packaging.
A sign is a small thing that gives a diorama both its scale and a particular place. The language of the lettering states the setting at once, with no need to explain anything, and it is recognized even by a viewer who does not know the subject. Signs are placed on fences, gates, the walls of buildings, barriers or separate posts and work equally well in civilian scenes and in an industrial setting.
Place the signs at the eye level of the figures, no higher — a mistake in the positioning is conspicuous in a finished scene. Free the area under a sign of dust and grease; when applying it, lay one edge down first and only then press it home. A new sign looks flat, so once it is fitted knock it back with varnish and add fine weathering: rubbing along the edges, a thin line of dirt under the upper edge and light dust at the foot of the post. Do not paint over the lettering, as small text loses its legibility at once. A slight tilt or a bent corner looks more convincing than a perfectly straight surface.
The accessory is supplied as a set of signs, not as a model kit. Glue, paints, posts and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
