An accessory set for model scenery in 1:35 scale from the Polish manufacturer Eureka XXL. It is not a vehicle kit but four resin castings of modern plastic containers for food and drink, of the kind used in supply work, in field kitchens, on building sites and in everyday civilian life. It is exactly this sort of small detail that turns an empty base into an inhabited scene and gives the model a scale reference.
The package holds four resin containers and a decal sheet for adding labels and lettering. The castings have a smooth surface matching molded plastic, with stiffeners, handles and lids according to the type of container.
First wash the castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears, and cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc. Protect your airways while sanding. Apply a primer before painting, otherwise the paint holds badly on resin. Food containers tend to be light and clean, so keep the weathering very restrained, with little more than a fine wash in the recesses and light chipping on the edges. Apply the label decals over a gloss base and then seal them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue, as ordinary cement for plastic has no effect on resin.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
