Quickwheel 1:35 Pz.Kpfw. III is a road wheel masking set cut for the MiniArt kit. It separates the rubber tire band from the rim on every wheel with one uniform shape.

This is not a model of the tank or a set of parts, but a masking accessory. On the wheels of the Pz.Kpfw. III in 1:35 scale the set separates the rubber tire band from the rim and replaces lining the edge by hand. The cut belongs to the wheels of the MiniArt kit — with wheel masks the rule is that the shape is tied to a particular molding, so check the match with your own kit beforehand.
The Pz.Kpfw. III has six road wheels of medium diameter on each side hung on torsion bars, three considerably smaller return rollers above them, a toothed drive sprocket at the front and an idler wheel at the rear. Unlike the later German types with interleaved wheels, the wheels stand in a single row side by side, so they can be reached — but they are all identical, and any difference between them is that much more conspicuous. The rollers are also so small that lining their tire band with a brush has practically no chance of coming out evenly. The running gear is visible along its whole length on this type; the fenders merely edge it from above.
The combination of a lining brush and a strip of masking tape is the classic routine, except that tape stuck onto the curved flank of a wheel crumples as it bends, and in the folds paint bleeds under it. Removing an overrun like that then means sanding in a place where there is no spare material left. A ready-made mask seats on the wheel as one piece and the edge matches the shape of the part. Mask and spray the wheels separately, while they can still be held by the axle.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
