Momo is an Italian make associated with steering wheels and wheels for sporting and modified cars. The designation Vega belongs to one of its wheel patterns, and in this set you will find it in a diameter of fourteen inches, in reduction therefore as a wheel just under fifteen millimeters in diameter. Fourteen-inch rims belong to cars of older generations, on which the wheel tends to be taller and the tire has a pronounced sidewall.
The set brings complete wheels for 1:24 scale: rims with the Vega pattern and tires to go with them. They will replace the rims supplied in a kit and suit anywhere a build is meant to come across as a period-modified car.
Cut the excess material and the marks left by production away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder so that the circumference of the rim stays round. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. The tall sidewall of the tire will bear a fine lift with a matte black and a light dusting with a dust shade near the contact patch, by which the wheel stops coming across as a freshly unpacked part. Paint the rim on its own and put the tire on only once it has dried.
The set is for modelers who are building an older road or competition car and want wheels with a crisper drawing than a kit offers. Choose a suitable glue according to the material of the parts and go by the manufacturer's instructions. Paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
