Responsibility details are not available.
A set of two turned metal gun barrels for a model of the German E-100 super-heavy tank in 1:35 scale: the massive 15 cm main armament and the 7.5 cm coaxial gun. The machined barrels replace the split plastic parts of the kit, have a perfectly circular section and crisply rendered muzzle detail. On a feature as dominant as the armament of a super-heavy tank this is an upgrade that shows at first sight. The set is intended for the Dragon kit.
The E-100 was a super-heavy tank project from the so-called Entwicklung series, with which Germany wanted to unify the development of armored vehicles toward the end of the Second World War. By the end of the war only a single unfinished hull without a turret had been built, which the Allies captured in 1945. The armament proposals envisaged a turret carrying a 15 cm gun and a 7.5 cm coaxial gun, and it is exactly this planned form that models capture and that this set of barrels is aimed at.
Degrease the metal barrels before gluing and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; on the heavier 15 cm barrel the joint can be reinforced with epoxy. Use a primer for metals before painting so that the coat holds reliably, and unify the transitions to the gun mantlet with weathering.
The accessory is intended for a tank kit: the base model is not included in the package.
